Our church meets in Louisburg, Kansas, and we hope this site is of service to you. The purpose here is to provide an outline of our philosophy of ministry, our passion for Christ, and the vision of our congregation. Reading through this material will give you an idea of the direction we are headed. We hope our direction is plain: we desire to delight in the one True God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Christ is the beginning, the center and the aim of all of our fellowship, praise, prayer, worship and sermons.
Preaching Christ from the Old and New Testament is the commitment of the church. The Word preached is a means of grace by which our Lord nourishes us from heaven. Together with the grace of Communion and Baptism, the sermon is how we are fed by Christ, and he himself is our manna. A Christian sermon is one that begins with Christ, explains Christ, focuses on Christ, exalts Christ, and points us to him for the Glory of the Triune God.
